A resolution by the Cabinet of Ministers dated May 30, 2024, No. 311 (https://www.norma.uz/novoe_v_zakonodatelstve/kto_oformit_sertifikat_proishojdeniya_tovarov) "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Connection with the Further Improvement of the Order of Goods Origin Certification" has been adopted.

The document introduces amendments and additions that incorporate the general rules of the WTO Agreement on Rules of Origin into national legislation.

Products manufactured in Uzbekistan for domestic circulation can receive a CT-UZ certificate. The relevant addition is included in paragraph 36 of the Regulations on the Procedure for Conducting Goods Origin Certification, along with Appendix 7, which defines the form of the CT-UZ certificate.

Additionally, according to the resolution, for certain foreign countries, it is possible to issue a certificate of goods origin in electronic form by applying a QR code.

The document will come into force on August 4, 2024.
