President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Turkey on June 6 at the invitation of President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The visit's program includes the third meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council, chaired by the leaders of both countries, to be held in Ankara.

The summit's agenda includes discussions on the further development and strengthening of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkey.

Special attention will be given to expanding practical cooperation, particularly increasing trade volumes and promoting joint projects in industries such as manufacturing, green energy, electrical engineering, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture, including within public-private partnership programs.

There will also be discussions on continuing active cultural and humanitarian exchanges. The leaders will exchange views on current international political issues.

Following the high-level talks, a number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed.

Additionally, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkey will hold their first joint meeting with leaders of major enterprises and companies from both countries.
