Memorandum of understanding signed with the Navoi free economic zone

In accordance with Clause 2, Subparagraph "b" of the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ–126 dated March 14, 2024 “On Measures to Further Strengthen the Role of Entrepreneurial Associations in the Development of Foreign Trade and Regional Industry”, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed on March 27, 2025 between the Project Office Department of Uzbekexpertiza JSC (Tashkent) and the Navoi Branch — “NavoiExpertiza”, in close cooperation with the management of the Navoi Free Economic Zone (FEZ).

Under this agreement, the parties will cooperate in the following areas: • Development of business plans tailored for SMEs and entrepreneurs; • Provision of ready-to-implement business projects to local and foreign investors; • Support in allocating and launching investment initiatives within dedicated industrial plots in the Navoi FEZ.

This Memorandum marks a concrete step toward implementing the national agenda outlined by the President and aims to expand private sector participation, increase investment activity in the regions, and foster a favourable environment for entrepreneurship and industrial growth.
